I went to the Belconnen Markets this afternoon- it's a bunch of fresh fruit/vegetable/meat/fish markets. They have some of the weirdest foods that I've never heard of! Last time I went, they had this huge, bright blue fish (it was so cool, too bad I don't know what it was called) but they didn't have any this time.

Octopus!

This fish was huuuge!

Tasmanian Brie!

Lots of fruit.

Australia even does Red Bull better.

So many different kinds of potatoes!

This is what I look at when I hang the clothes out to dry. This isn't even one of the best.. the sunsets here are so amazing.

Same food, different boxes. That's how a lot of things are at the supermarkets here... so wierd!

Yesterday was my third and last day in Sydney. It was finally REALLY nice weather.. at least I got one day of warmth! Three days was nowhere near enough time to see and do everything I wanted to. I guess I'll just have to go back!

In the window of the Police and Justice Museum.

Inside the Powerhouse Museum.

This dog was just sitting outside Paddy's Markets (a giant indoor Chinatown basically) with no owner or anything in sight.

I forget what building this is but it's somewhere on Pitt St. in the main shopping area.

I think this was the third police station I went to in search of a Sydney Police patch.

Some shoes hanging on the telephone wires right outside my hostel.

My second day in Sydney. I went on a tour to the Blue Mountains... we went to a National Park where I got to feed kangaroos and pet koalas and see lots of other really cool animals! And then we went up into the Blue Mountains and hiked to a few different planes to see some awesome rocks and rainforests, etc. We ended the day with a drive around Olympic Park and a ferry ride around the Harbor to get back. Unfortunately it was raining most of the day, but it was still one of the coolest things I have ever done in my life!

The Opera House on a little bit nicer day

The main stadium at Olympic Park.

Waterfalls in the Blue Mountains.. I forget what they're called.

Rainforests in the Blue Mountains

The first of the Three Sisters.. it was too cloudy to see the other two =(

Johanna and I.. apparently I only ever meet German au pairs. I gave my camera to someone else to take this picture. I'm so glad you can see the rocks in the background... NOT.

I don't remember what this was called but he looks so funny

FOR PURVI- this was the very first thing I saw when I got off the bus! They're everywhere here.. no taquitos though!!

Darling Harbor right around sunset.. it was too cloudy to tell though.

Adam, this one is for you.. they really do have big spiders here!

I wish I knew what this was.. It's on the other side of the Harbor Bridge.
