My host father went to an Aboriginal community on the coast of New South Wales to do some photography of the kids there, and I got to tag along. It was really pretty there.. I didn't take too many pictures or get any good ones really though.
A cave on the beach
This was super pretty and much greener in person
These wild kangaroos let us get SO close to them. This one has a joey in her pouch!
Funniest dog ever. He waddled so much when he walked.

There were 2 or 3 whales swimming right off the coast, maybe 500 meters from where we were standing!

I stole some other people's pictures from the sailing trip...
Our boat!
I swear this photo was not as forced as it looks
So disgusting.. this is what happens when you swim in salt water for four days and don't shower. But this is me standing on my bed. We had this huge hatch right above the bed!
Getting ready to get dropped off to go snorkeling! This was the day we were 70km or so out and that water is at least 40meters deep.
On our way the next day (I'm 2nd from the back on the left side).. this is where we saw the sea turtle! I still can't get over how blue the water is =) Unfortunately, these are the only pictures I have of us in our wetsuits.

I swear that none of these pictures are photoshopped or color corrected.. everything really looked this fake in real life!

Sunset my last night on the islands

Wild cockatoos are everywhere in Australia

The marina

Sailing back our last day at sea.. look at the angle the boat is on!

Grinding.. we got to raise the sail and everything everyday!

Such a pretty sunset!

I got to control the parachute!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

My skin flapping beautifully in the wind.. I guess that's what happens when you're falling towards Earth at 130 mph...

SCARED SHITLESS. No other way to put it.

Right after I watched the other girl jump.. I actually cried I was so scared.

My favorite Irish girls, and our lovely accommodation.

The sail, obviously.

Getting ready to dive. I think we were about 70 kilometers out from land here!

Everyone watching the sunrise.

What everyone was watching.

The sunrise again (these pictures are all backwards though)

The dingy that brought us to and from our sailboat (which, by the way, was called Spank Me)

World famous Whitehaven Beach.. the sand (it's actually silica, not sand) is practically white and the water is bright, bright blue. It looks like it just came out of a Brita filter it's so clear!

From the lookout over Whitehaven Beach.

The sunset our first night on the boat!
