We went to the Australia/New Zealand Air Guitar Championships the other night for one of the other au pairs birthdays.. SO MUCH fun!

After a nice evening out and a drive home in the freezing cold (it's finally in the negatives here!) all I wanted was a nice hot shower, but this little fellow decided he wanted to join me. I'd say he was about the size of a half dollar, which is pretty small compared to most of the spiders in Australia but definitely way bigger than the ones we have in New York City!

I spent the weekend in Melbourne and I fell in love! It rained most of the time (of course) but I still absolutely loved the city. I took a day tour of the Great Ocean Road, which was amaaaaaazing, but the pictures just don't do it justice. Here's a taste of the 800-something pictures I took.. there's definitely more to come!
